All drivers must have a working seat belt and a helmet to compete in a class!!!!!!!! (neck braces are recommended)
Must have functional brakes front and rear of vehicle
Fuctional four wheel original equipment brakes in pure street and modified street
Functional four wheel aftermarket brakes in hot street through modified
Pinion brakes in prostock through open
A charged fire extinguisher is recommended in all classes
All vehicles should have neutral and clutch safty switches
All vehicles with eletric fuel pumps must have master disconnect switch at rear of vehicle
Absolutly no nitro methane fuel in any class
Nitorus oxide is only permitted in the outlaw and open classes.
Power adders (turbos, superchargers, etc) are only permitted in open class unless oem factory equipped
All mechanical fans must have a secured shroud
May remove the doors from cj, yj, tj, scout, 66-77 bronco and 69-72 blazer but must have arm and leg restraints such as cloth doors, netting or safety bars
Roll cages are suggested, factory removable tops may be removed w/min. Of 4 point protection, super street through open are required to have a 6 point roll cage (min .093, 1.5 inch steel tubing) around driver.
Safety racing seat and minimum of 5 point harness required in super street through open
All vehicles with transbrake require sf! Case or blanket/shield
Batteries and fuel cells must be properly secured
Wheelie bars allowed in prostock through open only
All trucks are subject to inspection at any point after initial inspection, failure to pass inspection will result in immediate disqualification and forfeit of all entery fees
Tech officals have last word, arguing with techs, time keeper/ score keeper, and announcer will result in disquailifacation with out a refund of entry fee and may be asked to leave the event.
Rules subject to change prior to events
Entry fee will only be refunded if truck is broke and can not make a pass and will be checked by a tech official and only if class has no started to run.
Protest fee: $200.00 per item in whatever class it pertains to.
In the event of a protest the competitor who js protesting must put up $200.00. The protestor's truck will be checked first and then the protested competitor's truck will be checked.
If the protested competitor is found legal, they will receive $100.00; the track will receive the other$ i 00.00.
If the protested competitor is found illegal the protester will get $100.00 of his/hers money back, the track will receive the other $100.00.
Format for Protesting
A protest sheet must be completed and state which item of the competitor's vehicle you are protesting.
The protest sheet plus the protest fee must be given to a track official within i 0 minutes after the end of that class. After 10 minutes the competitor's vehicle may not be protested for the rules in that class. All protested vehicles will be check at the end of ti-ie race day.
All decisions made by the track officials will be final. Please keep in mind that without their personal involvement there would not be a race for you to compete.
